The E-Government Projects and Activities Planning and Management Directorate shall plan and elaborate project proposals in compliance with the applicable strategic and program documents. The Directorate shall provide support in the process of elaborating project proposals, compiling the requirements related to the funding instruments of central and regional administrations, institutions and, pursuant to the sectoral strategies on electronic governance regarding the components included and subject to e-Government. The Directorate shall elaborate methodological guidelines on the planning and developing project proposals, monitor the compliance with them and provide opinions on the approval of specific project proposals or actions, whereas, if necessary, it shall arrange a preliminary, continuous and follow-up evaluation; it shall prepare proposals on amending the strategic and program documents related to the e-Government, identifying the risks or difficulties in achieving the goals set out in the documents with regard to the projects implementation; It shall participate in the process of preparing mile-stone reports and an annual plan for the development and renovation of the information resources of the administration and the information resources of the Unified Electronic Communication Network of the state administration, designed to meet the national security needs; it shall take part in prioritizing the electronic administrative services ands the information systems of the administrations.
